Description
This MCP server converts video files to high-quality GIF animations using FFmpeg with optimized palette generation and Lanczos scaling. Built by Anand Tyagi with fluent-ffmpeg and automatic FFmpeg installation, it offers customizable output settings including FPS (1-30), dimensions with aspect ratio preservation, and precise time-based extraction of video segments. The implementation includes a 120-second timeout for processing, progress monitoring, and saves GIFs in the same directory as source videos, making it valuable for creating animated previews, social media content, or documentation assets from video files.
